June 2023 – UNCG Honors Graduate Justin Halsey joins Professional Staff
We are very excited to announce that Justin Halsey has joined the Professional Staff. Justin completed his undergraduate degree in Accounting at UNCG while working the Breslow Starling Spring 2023 tax internship. At UNCG, Justin served as president of the Bryan School Undergraduate Ambassadors from Fall 2022 through Spring 2023. At graduation, he received the Outstanding Undergraduate Student award for leadership and stewardship. We congratulate Justin on his achievements and welcome him to the firm. Justin’s immediate focus will be compliance work.

We are pleased to announce Kelsey Fields has recently passed the CPA exam and obtained her license. In addition, Kelsey has been promoted to Senior. This promotion recognizes Kelsey’s growth and development in providing tax and accounting services to clients of the firm.
December 2022 – We welcome Susan English to the Professional Staff
We are pleased to share that Susan English has joined the Breslow Starling Professional Staff. Susan, a native of eastern NC, has extensive experience in local industry accounting where she held numerous positions with increasing responsibilities. Susan brings 20 plus years of accounting knowledge to the firm. We look forward to growing with Susan and know she will be an important addition to the Breslow Starling client accounting services team.
Keith Hiatt and Carrie Dufresne are delighted to be guest speakers at the November 7, 2022 meeting of Beta Alpha Psi at the UNCG Bryan School of Business. A national honor society, Beta Alpha Psi locally supported by students enrolled in the Department of Accounting and Finance at UNCG.
Breslow Starling will be participating in upcoming recruiting events at both High Point University and Appalachian State during September 2022.
We are excited to have participated in the UNCG Meet the Firms recruiting event on August 29, 2022. Thanks to our recruiting team for representing the firm as we look to fill positions for the upcoming tax season.
